The
handmade decorations and finishes represent the authentic signature of Estro
Fiorentino's production and make the object unique and inimitable. The articles
shown in this site don't exhaust the huge "Estro Fiorentino"
collection. If you want to have a glance to the whole production don't hesitate
to contact us. Let's analyse in detail the several finishes: |

|
False Marble:this effect is rendered on wood through the use of overlapping colours, that are then treated with emery-paper. We use a Fine Arts paint-brush to draw a mesh, that reproduces the real marble veins. Finally everything is finished with varnishes and wax and then polished by hand.
| Oxide and Mecca: for this antique finish, only precious fine silver is used. Silver is spread in very thin leaves and burnished by hand with agate stone, that confers an extraordinary brightness to the object. The following treatment with blackener, varnishes and wax gives an antique taste, that is the goal of our production. |

Polychrome: this decoration is made by highly qualified staff (graduated in Arts) and demands a great sensibility for colours. The superimposition and shading of tempera arouse on wood flowers, leaves and fruits.
| Gold: for this work we use the thinnest alloy sheets, which are treated with a particular technique that gives gold a feeling of "old". For some articles gold is coupled with a white paint, bringing back a classic pattern of baroque 1700. |

Décapée: this finish, currently particularly appreciated, takes cue from the effects induced on wood when it stays too long in water (it rots with a white mildew and dark relief). Its peculiarity is to adapt to all atmospheres giving them a sensation of "experienced".
| Lacquered: this finish gives wood the aspect of several other essences like cherry, oak and walnut. An alcoholic varnish is used on the object, which is then polished with wax. |
